A presentation and participatory workshop for students at KHIO, Oslo, based on my artistic practice with a particular focus on Ahoo Ahoo / The Conference of the Birds.
Through my work, I explored ways of engaging with the more-than-human world in art, both materially and immaterially. Together, we delved into how respect, attentiveness and humility can become essential ingredients in the artistic process, inviting us to reconsider our relationship with the living world and the ways we approach creative practice.
Blurring the boundaries between nature and culture, we explored the enchantment of eiderdown and explored the delicate texture of eider down and the sounds of the down harp, opening up a space for listening, sensing and imagining other ways of being in relation with the more-than-human world.
