Selvær is an island of the Helgeland archipelago on the coast of North Norway. For centuries the islanders in this area have built houses and tending for the eiderducks while they are nesting and hatching their eggs, receiving eiderdown in return. Eva has, for the last two springs, been exploring this beautiful interspecies and cross-cultural collaboration and making a film about the close-knit relationship between humans and eiderducks on Selvær. The film will be finished in the spring of 2024
This is a trailer for the upcoming film.

Heia Eva, Eivind og Jan. Så fint å se!! Og takk for sist, både på Vega og i Tromsø. Det nærmer seg ny sesong, og nye muligheter og utfordringer. Alt godt. Bente
