The Conference of the Birds is unfolding between February and May in the Dome of Life at Island Brygge in front of the Kulturhus with several events. Come and check it out and help spread the word!!
On the 14th of March at 5-7 PM educational scientist and bird expert Nikolaj Noel Christensen is giving a presentation on the migration and movements of birds – in general and especially in times of war. He introduces us to how the birds are affected by human conflicts. And also gives examples of some of the migratory birds we experience in Copenhagen.
Afterwards there will be a dialogue between action philosopher Oleg Koefoed and Nikolaj about how we can learn more about our own relationship with nature by understanding the birds – and how we can contribute to doing more to protect or improve the conditions of migratory birds.
The talk and conversation takes place on the 14th of March in the Dome of Life at Island Brygge, Copenhagen – if there are too many of us, we expand the room. The event is in Danish.
Entrance DKK 50 for a double ticket for this day and the walk on 21/3 (you are welcome to share with a friend if it is difficult to reach both parts!)
Tea and coffee and some snacks are served.
